This collection of solos offers yet another opportunity to savour Steven Mead's total command of the euphonium and his impressive sense of shape and musical line.The class of accompaniment from both Howard Snell and Williams Fairey shines through the entire disc, a little over 73 minutes of music making of a very high level. I, for one, don't expect to hear more enjoyable euphonium playing anywhere. Don't miss it.
