Trakai is a beautiful town set by a lake and a historic castle near to Vilnius, Lithuania. It's the setting for the annual 'Fanfare Band' Festival, this year 3-8 August. It is one of just two courses Steve will be teaching in Europe this summer (the other being in Palermo, Sicily 13-14 August)
Applications are now being accepted and early application is advised. For those going from the UK, Ryanair fly direct, and quite cheaply to Kaunas, and transportation can be organised to transport you to Trakai from there (just over one hour by car).The closest airport is Vilnius. Arrive 2nd August, depart 9th August is recommended.
Every year Steve is a guest soloist and tutor at the Trakai Fanfare Week, close to Vilnius , Lithuania. This year the course runs from 3rd to 8th August. The course is set in a beautiful location, with excellent music-making and great social activities!!

The fee is € 260. Package includes master classes, ensembles, participation in the Fanfare Band, local transport, accommodation, meals and entertainment – concerts and excursions – during the event.
