At 1pm March 22, at St Peter's Church, Witherley I will marry the lovely Misa Akahoshi...who will become Misa Mead, at the very same moment and we will begin our new life together.
At the same time Misa will release her new CD Journey and will become a Besson artist. This means we will be able to travel and play concerts together at different times of the year. Thanks for the many kind greerings we've both received since we announced our plans many months ago.
The wedding ceremony will be full of great music, including performances by the entire RNCM Euphonium/Baritone studio, conducted by David Thornton, who will also play a solo during the signing of the register. Sean Peterson, one of my students at the RNCM has arranged Mendelssohn's Wedding March for euphonium choir and organ as we as the renamed Euphonium Voluntary by Jeremiah Clarke !
The day after the wedding Misa and I will fly to Bangkok to take part and perform at the Tubamania 2014 Festival hosted by Mahidol University...and it will mark exactly 12 months from where we first became a couple. What a year it's been !!
Many exciting plans lie ahead including both of us being invited to the Sydney International Brass Festival in July, as well as the Riga Brass Symposium in April and concerts (and our Japanese wedding party) in Tokyo, also in April.
Thanks for all your continued support.
Steve
