January
- produce and play on Misa's new solo CD
- a busy months teaching at the RNCM as their 1st assessments loom.
- at the end of the month leave for a 6 day trip to Russia
February
- concert with brass ensemble in Saratov, Russia
- 15 day University tour in Texas, USA, 3 schools and incorporating the TMEA event in San Antonio
- release of the Pearls CD I recorded with the Central Band of the Royal Air Force it
March
- visit to the Frankfurt Music fair
- the big wedding (22nd!)
- trip to Thailand, for the Tubamania Festival
- release of Misa's debut CD, Journey
April
- visit to Germany for brass coaching
- Riga Brass Symposium, Latvia
- a 2nd visit to Germany for concert in Meersburg
- eight-day trip to Japan, with concerts in Hiroshima, Osaka and Tokyo, and our Japanese wedding party
May
- concert in Ludwigsburg Germany
- masterclass in Isnello, Sicily, Italy
- spring concerts with the Brass Band of Battle Creek
- International Tuba Euphonium Conference (ITEC), Indiana, USA
- German brass band open competition
June
- Low Brass Boot Camp (LBBC), USA
- workshop in Austria
- concerts in the Netherlands
- summer Brass Academy, Non Sole, Smarano, Italy
July
- concert in Augsburg, Germany
- masterclass in Trentino, Italy
- three-week trip to Australia, including Sydney Brass Festival
- Fanfare Week, Trakai, Lithuania
August
- International Band and Ensemble Festival, Jeju, South Korea
- concerts in Austria, with the Youth Brass Band of Upper Austria
- UK tour, 9 days, 6 concerts, with the Youth Brass Band from Austria
Another highlight for the rest of the year include a three-week Asia tour in December, hopefully incorporating Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, and Japan.
