Euphoniumstore.net is growing ! I just want to tell you about a few up to date features of euphoniumstore.net
Firstly, we are running a special offer on the very popular Virtuoso Music for Brass CD, now for a short time just - £9.00. I really want people to hear this incredible music. If you like the CD and want to try the pieces of course you can buy the two albums and the special duet that accompany this CD.
We've just added quite a lot of new music to our sheet music section, including all the euphonium and baritone solos from the UK publisher Winwood Music, the high quality Swiss publisher EditionsBIM, the entire catalogue from Studio Music including my solo series and many other of their leading works. This is in addition of course to our existing catalogue which includes the entire Mead series of playalong books and studies from deHaske (and all their other euphonium baritone music and studies), the Peter Meechan collection of euphonium, baritone and tuba works. And of course, the Euphonium Virtuoso series from Band Press.
If you need a challenge, for sure we have music for you !

New Valve springs
And now for something quite revolutionary !
We are delighted to be the very first to bring you a revolutionary new design in Valve Springs. Very soon we will have the first supplies of the most amazing set of valve springs that I have been testing and using continuously for the last nine months. They are not available on any production instrument, probably because they are a little pricey ! But they are without doubt the best set of valve springs you can possibly put on your instrument.
So why are they so special ?
Well for a start they are manufactured to the absolute highest quality in Japan.
The brass springs are covered in a very thin plastic tubing, giving a completely silent action.
Each valve spring is numbered (1,2,3,4 !) and has to be inserted into the correct valve. They are numbered because the tension of each bring is slightly different, given that your first, second and third fingers are of different strengths, and your fourth valve has a different size and width of tubing. So each one looks slightly different but feels remarkably consistent to play.
Perhaps the most remarkable feature of them is that you get no rebound bounce on your valve action whatsoever. I could barely believe it when I first tested it.
So it makes for smoother soft playing and without doubt more precision and speed with faster music.
I cannot speak highly enough about these valve springs. Please visit the site regularly but I estimate we will have them for sale by March 22. They are sure to be very much in demand.
They are available just for euphonium (not baritone) at the moment.
Mutes
We stock the full range of Denis wick euphonium mutes; the black metal practice mute, the silver metal straight mute , and the newly redesigned (by me) wooden mute. These are a valuable asset to any euphonium player's equipment. Unfortunately we have to charge a little extra shipping for these and the shipping is calculated automatically on purchase. But we need to ensure that you receive them in perfect condition and this means extra packaging, weight and size. But I do hope you will consider this a useful purchase in the future.
We really appreciate your business and enjoy the contact and interaction that we have with our customers.
Thanks again for shopping at www.euphoniumstore.net
