There will be a specialist course in Phoenix, Arizona next May, one week before the International Tuba Euphonium Conference.May 17-22, 2010
The first annual low-brass bootcamp will be held in Phoenix, AZ May 17-22, 2010 on the campus of Mesa Community College.
Join world-class tutors Steven Mead and Pat Stuckemeyer as they provide a week of intense training and fun with an awesome lineup of staff including:
•Danny Helseth, former euphoniumist with the Air Force Band, Washington, D.C.
•Kelly Thomas, professor of euphonium and tuba at the University of Arizona.
•Aaron Tindall, world-famous soloist and clinician for Besson instruments.
•Jamie Lipton, professor at Henderson State University, and clinician for Willson instruments.
Costs
Cost for the weekly tuition will be $300. Included in this will be:
•Weekly tuition.
•Camp commemorative T-Shirt.
•Lunch everyday.
•Transportation to-and-from MCC.
Lodging is available nearby in single and double occupancy rooms. Costs are:
•Single occupancy: $300/person
•Double occupancy: $200/person

•Transportation to Tucson, AZ from Phoenix for the conference the following week!
