The Austrians know a thing or two about brass ! And they know how to put on a Festival. Last weekend was the 'Internationales Festival fur Posaune, Tenorhorn, Euphonium und Tuba' held in Vocklabruck, Upper Austria. The line up of artistes was quite superb: Branimir Slokar (trombone), Oystein Baadsvik (Tuba) Wilfried Brandstotter (Tuba-Mnozil Brass Brass) Lito Fontana (Trombone), Robert Kozanek (tenorhorn) ,Harald Buchner (euphonium), Low Brass Ensemble of Upper Austria, Brass Band Oberosterreich, Hans Gansch (cornet), Gerald Pottinger (Trombone), also with trade representations from Besson, Miraphone, Schagerl, Kuhnl and Hoyer...and more !!!
Here are the lecture notes from the seminar I did on breathing on saturday afternoon:

Bravo to the Austrians, once again. It WAS a spectacular Festival. Thanks to Buffet Crampon for supporting my appearance and to all the organisers of this wonderful experience.
